Daxxify (or Daxi for short) is the brand name for “daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm”. It has the same active ingredient as Botox, botulinum toxin, which temporarily paralyzes the muscles that cause wrinkles, especially in the upper third of the face. But Daxxify is different in a few key ways: 

• It contains a peptide that helps it last longer than Botox or other neuromodulators. 
• It’s free of any animal or human byproducts, which might matter if you have certain allergies.
• It starts working faster than Botox. Daxxify starts visibly working in about two days, whereas Botox takes 5-7 days on average.

You’ll need more units of Daxxify than Botox for the same effect, so be prepared to use about twice as many units than Botox. (And yes, this does make it more expensive).
